The craft of our local fashion photographers tied my heart into knots from waxing visual lyrical. Here I am today, paying tribute to our artisans.
There was a time when photography was a union of precision, skills and art; when photographs were produced and imprinted on photo papers from rolled films in the dreaded dark room.
There was no ease or convenience of luxurious point and shoot cameras, or colour correction and editing from Adobe. A good photographer should know (and master) the very fundamental and basic knowledge of that very union.
Here I am today, paying tribute to the crafts of our very own local fashion photographers. Thank you for your existence, dear photographers. Gorgeous fashion magazine spreads and covers are impossible without you.
