It’s fight week here in sunny Singapore.
And arguably, the fight on everyone’s minds and lips has to be the bout between “The Iron Fists” from Namibia, Nataneal Sebastian and Singapore’s very own Muhamad Ridhwan, “The Chosen Wan”.
These two warriors will duke it out for the vacant IBO International Super Featherweight title belt at the “Roar of Singapore III”.
Both sweet science exponents currently hold unblemished records as pro boxers with Sebastian at 9-0 and Ridhwan at 8-0 respectively. But come 20th October 2017, someone’s “0” will go.
Looking at the fight record for both men, it’s interesting to note that Sebastian has fought solely his fellow countrymen so far in his professional boxing career. On the other hand, Ridhwan has seen off competitions from Indonesia, the Philippines and from Tanzania – a boxer whom he KO’ed enroute to becoming the UBO World Super Featherweight champion.
Will Ridhwan, fresh from his training stint at the renowned Mayweather Gym, be able to take advantage of his opponent’s lack of international fighting experience or would being a relatively unknown commodity work in Sebastian’s favor instead?
With a moniker like “The Iron Fists” it’s a dead giveaway to the punching power that Sebastian possess but then again, in boxing anything can happen. Perhaps it’s apt that the only person capable of putting a stop to his unbeaten streak has to be “The Chosen Wan”.
Find out this Friday at Roar of Singapore III, Friday 20th October 2017 at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre.
